In 2011 Garry Fredericks and Bernie Maher saw an opportunity to develop a high-quality, purpose-built laundry facility; a unique service for Mackay. Their ideas took eight months to grow from concept to reality and the Wash House opened in October 2012 as a purposed designed and built Laundromat.

Positive Feedback about the Wash House from our Customers has been:

• Customers have the choice of doing their laundry themselves or leaving it to the Wash House staff to look after.
• Bernie is the smiling face of the drop-off/pick-up service which includes drop off and pick up of washing, drying and ironing.
• Customers often comment how clean and fresh everything is kept here at The Wash House – and they love our coffee.
• All the washing machines and dryers at the Wash House are cleaned daily.
• Located in the Northern Beaches at Shop 6, 3 Rosewood Drive, Rural View, Opposite the Bowls Club.
